This photo is so peaceful to me. It makes me want to buy an old farmhouse, move away from technology, and sit under a big tree reading a book. I wish I had a whole row of apple trees and that I could take my children out to pick them during apple season. I always thought that I wanted to live in a subdivision but during the last few months it has occurred to me that I want lots of land. Lots of SPACE. I no longer want to see my neighbors bedroom window from my bedroom window...
Sorry to interrupt this peaceful post but I just noticed my son is having a conversation with his tummy and it is just too amusing to ignore.
Connor: What that you say tummy? You want some more food? You're still HUNGRY? But you can't have anymore food because I have to go to school. Every time I feed you you say you want more food. STOP THAT TUMMY. STTTOOPPP THHAATT!!
At that point I had to step in and defend Connor's tummy before Connor said something he would regret.
Back to my thoughts...or not because now I can't stop thinking about Connor standing in the corner yelling at his stomach. Should I feed him more or is he just asserting his authority on one of the few things he gets to control. He is pretty bossy but he comes by that naturally...it was passed down from a long line of great bossy people (not naming any names here - you know who you are). It's time to take Connor to school so I will be back later and perhaps I will let him tell his stomach he can have some apples on the way. Here that tummy....Connor just might feed you today!

WELL MAYBE YOU ALL CAN FIND YOU A FARM AND THEN CONNOR WOULD WANT COWS, GOATS, PIGS AND SOME CHICKENS.... AND THEN RAISE PLENTY OF FOOD TO FEED CONNOR'S TUMMY. HE IS A MESS!
