Connor has been SO excited about the Easter Bunny stopping by his home. I convinced him to go to bed by telling him that the Easter Bunny had magic glasses that let him see what Connor was doing. Since the Easter Bunny had magic glasses if he saw that Connor was not asleep then he would just hop right past our house. Wish this idea worked on Connor every night. I'm really tempted to invent some kind of mystical bedtime fairy that leaves presents for the little boys & girls who go to sleep ON TIME without a fit and actually sleep in THEIR BED the entire night. It would totally be worth stocking up on useless kid crap at the dollar tree. The more I write about this the more convinced I am that I AM ON TO SOMETHING!!
Anyhow....Connor woke up before sunrise and was off like "he he" a rabbit in search of his hidden Easter Basket. The best part about the hunt was that the night before I had cleaned up the kitchen and was fed up with the gumball machine cluttering up my counter. Thus I relocated the gumball machine to my office. When Connor was frantically searching for his swag he saw it and exclaimed "That is funny. The Easter Bunny hid my gumball machine here too. Why would he do that? That's NOT my present is it?" No dear Connor....lucky for you the Easter Bunny hasn't resorted to re-gifting...at least not yet for you (he might have done this for Jackson with your old toys but we can't be sure).....
