Do-Re-Mi Musical Blocks. They take blocks to the next level by combing stacking blocks with a musical instrument. Each block has a metal bar attached to the top and when you strike the bar with the included mallet it makes music. I love that it came with a song book that can be easily made it possible for my son to actually play some children songs on the blocks. My youngest wanted to hit them with the mallet repetitively and my oldest thought he was a composer. Each side is illustrated with learning photos about instruments and practicing. There is even a visual counting illustration on one side of each block. This is a unique gift that is also great for learning a little about music!

I would choose the FeltTales - A Day at the Aquarium becausewe live in the midwest in a rural area. So my grandkids have never seen the ocean or any ocean life outside of the zoo. So I think it would be a wonderful learning set
