Make your own brochures!

UPrinting has generously sponsored a giveaway for NWB readers! You can enter to win 50 brochures - they will be printed on 100 lb paper gloss and you can chose to have them fold many ways: half fold, trifold/letterfold, z-fold, fold roll, or even an accordion fold. Your brochures will also include inside & outside printing and be sent your way in the short span of 2 business days! Pretty cool huh? I spent some time thinking about what I would do with the opportunity to print 50 brochures and I came up with a couple ideas to share with you - don't worry most of them are things any parent could use.

1. Promotional - I would use them to promote NWB. I think it would be cool to have these on hand when attending trade shows or networking with fellow bloggers.
   
2. Menus - My kids would get a big kick out of having a fake restaurant menu for their pretend restaurant. I would put their pics up as the chefs and then include photos of their play food arranged as meals on plates.
   
3. Road Trip Entertainment - it would be very helpful to have something stocked in the car when my little ones get bored. I was thinking you could put pictures of different vehicle types on one page and let them color them but also include a little check boxes for them to mark off each time they found a vehicle of that make. It could also have a section with the ABC's and they could mark when they found each letter on a license plate. I'm still thinking of what other activities could be included on the brochure.
4. Portable Reward Chart - I could create an easy to tote reward chart for my boys. 50 brochures is only 2 short of having one a week for the entire year. We try to do the reward thing on the fridge but this way you could create almost a game board and each time they earn a reward color in a square on their way to the finish line. The problem with having ours in a stationary location is that we forget to give the rewards earned when we are not standing in the kitchen. I think it's better to have my boys see instantly their progress when they do something good. This way I could keep one with me in my purse - plus it would look really cute with their pictures on the front and a colorful game board inside!
