These cold winter months have taken a toll on my poor skin. It is embarrassingly dry, so much so that it gets flaky. I recently got to try out SKIN MD's Natural Shielding Lotion and I am pretty happy with the results. When I first put some in my hand it seemed a little milky so I thought it might not be too effective. However, it did a really good job of moisturizing my skin and I really like how it feels on my hands. It leaves them soft but with no residue - so as soon as I apply I can immediately go back to my previous activities. Most other lotions make my hands a little slippery or greasy and I don't like to use my computer or eat a snack when they are like that. I will definitely use this on my hands. Even after washing dishes they still felt moisturized instead of dry. SKIN MD's lotion is actually made using solar power - so it's eco-friendly and it's also vegan & cruelty free. I really recommend it for your hands or your children. It has no scent and it is even recommended by dermatologists for dry skin, eczema, and psoriasis. My oldest son is always complaining about itchy skin and this lotion really works well for him. It also comes in a SPF 15 formula which I think would be perfect for summer! You can order a bottle online or purchase at some drugstores (I've seen it at Walgreens).

We just bought a house and I am going to spend a lot of time outdoors, planting a garden, cutting the lawn, trimming the hedges, etc. I can sure use some skin lotion to keep my skin soft.

My skin is dry, flaky and even cracked in some places. It is also becoming increasingly sensitive... so lotions that worked for me in the past are now leaving it "crawling", itchy and burning at night. I'd love to give this a try before I take the plunge and buy it for myself.
