Obsession with a sketchbook

This is probably one of my favorite things on the market right now. Perhaps it's the Project Runway craze but I am really into sketching out designs of my own. Will they ever grace the runway of New York Fashion Week? My magic eight ball says 'outlook not so good' but that is hardly what I am going for. It's fun to get in touch with your inner style and with the Fashionflat Sketchpad it has never been easier. This adorably designed pad has 40 pages with pre-printed female forms that are ready and waiting for your designs. It also has a spot on each page for your notes, fabric swatches, or inspiration tears. The coolest thing about this one of a kind sketchpad is that when you photo-copy or scan your designs, the pre-printed female forms disappear. Now it looks like you did it all on your own!! The paper is high quality and heavy enough stock that you need not worry about markers bleeding through. On top of all this - there was no compromise made with the design of the sketchpad itself. It is effortlessly elegant and it even comes with stickers so that you can place your monogram on the cover. Who wouldn't have fun with this? Now you can create your own collection, prom dress, or even wedding gown - it's much easier to have your dream clothing made when you have a well laid out design to show.
  • Wrap it up: Give this memorable gift with some high quality colored pencils or markers from an art store. Or you could also wrap it up with a book about fashion.
  • Price Tag: $14.95
  • Where to buy: Hokey Croquis

This looks like a great product! My daughter loves to design clothes and would so enjoy this. I think the feature about the croquis outlines disappearing when you copy or scan it is cool! It just leaves your beautiful design to show off.

Well, I really think my favorite feature is the same as mverno's answer, but if I should need to pick a different reason, it would be that their are 40 sheets of paper, and you can use both the fronts and backs of the pages because of the heavy stock paper that is used.

My favorite feature is the pre printed front and back female croquis. I've tried to make my own a few times and they never come out right.

Of course the pink ribbon and cover are great but I think my fave feature is that when you photocopy the page with your design the figure doesn't transfer so you get just your design. This is a great product idea!
