Lilybugs

You might remember my previous review of an adorable product called Lilybugs. However, if you missed it you can click here to learn more. I am a bug fan of this product! Basically, Lilybugs are too-cute covers that will fit both your child's sippy cups & baby bottles. They not only make meal time look more fun but they also help make it easier for your child to hold their cup/bottle.
Lilybugs recently debuted two festive holiday options! I am lucky enough to be able to give one of each away to my readers! To enter to win you must do two things:
  1. Visit Lilybugs and comment back with your favorite Bug.
  2. Also tell me in your comment something funny your child or grandchild or the child next to you at walmart (you get the idea) said. I just want to hear something funny that someone under the age of 10 said to you at some point in your life. I can't wait to see what you have to share! - FOR EXAMPLE - I once passed gas rather loudly at a quiet bookstore and I tried to pass the blame on my 3 year old. I said "Connor, you should do that in the bathroom". He looked at me and said in an outraged shout "Me no do that mommy! You did that! You tooted, NOT me!" O - the humiliation. We made a pretty speedy exit.
The deadline to enter is December 15th at midnight EST. As usual you can DOUBLE your winning chances by subscribing to Now What Baby! Already a subscriber? Just remind me in your comment.Best Blogger Tips

These are to cute! I love the elephant one.
And when my second child was just a baby and I was nursing my 3 year old said, "do you have milk on one side and food on the other?"

I like the MissFin Bug! My 3 yr old just the other day when I took her to the doctor, I asked her if her shot hurt a little, and she said (very sadly) "No mama, it hurt BIG!" It was really cute and funny!

We like Pandabug. As for a funny, my youngest is full of it - sometimes at the worst times.
We were in line at the grocery store, surrounded. He says rather loudly " Girls don't have penises Mommy." I could feel everyone's heads turn. I simply said you're right honey, they don't. I'm glad he's got all that stuff figured out :) On to new subject matter!

I love the monkeybug! Such a great idea! Perfect for my little girl!
My little girl is only 14 months old so nothing embarrassing has come out of her mouth yet but her actions are another story...
One time she felt like pulling the color of my blouse down looking for milk and exposed me to all those lucky enough to be standing near by. Good times...

The monster bug reminds me of my 2 year old right now - very cute but a little devilish, I'm sure. He says the cutest things all the time - at Thanksgiving when asked what he was thankful for, he replied "The colour green. And Mommy and Daddy." He also wants us to name his baby sister "Brother" when she arrives. Also, the other night, the day after seeing Santa at 2 Christmas parties, I told him I had friends coming over and he looked at me and asked, "And Santa?"

JUST TODAY [how crazy] my 2 year old daughter said, "you have froggy in you mouth, mommy??" as my voice had just crackled out a comment to her. cracked me up :) and, i have to share more...my 4 year old son told me that "it's ok mom...you just have to shake your head really hard" after i just said i couldn't get a song out of my head.

I like the Squeaky Bug (the little mouse). Very cute!

My funny story:
I was impatiently looking out the window for my babysitter, who was late...and I was in a rush. When I saw her drive up, I said in an exasperated tone, "Finally, Amanda!" I opened the door for her and my 2 year old greeted her by saying, "Finally, Amanda!" in the exact same tone!! I realized then that I had better watch not just WHAT I say, but HOW I say things!

I know I already left a comment, but just tonight, we were out for dinner and as I returned to the table, my 2 1/2 yr. old yelled out in the middle of the restaurant, "Mommy, I pooped in my diaper" And he repeated it multiple times, just in case it wasn't clear the first time he yelled it! He was so proud and I was so mortified...

I love the Panda Bug.
My story is actually about something my daughter did, not said. When I was potty training her, there were times that she would tell me she had to go when she really didn't, justto get attention. So, one time I asked her is she was pulling my leg. She looked at me, quite confused, then walked up to me and pulled on my pantleg. :-)
