Baby IQ has a line of DVD's for your baby that my family gives 2 thumbs up (actually I guess it would be 8 thumbs)! My 3 month old loves to watch the different images on the DVD's. The DVDs are set to beautiful music preformed by the London Symphony Orchestra. There is no talking and for that I am so thankful. If I have to listen to another strange baby show then I might go mad. This music is soothing and I actually enjoy listening to it. The lack of voice over also makes it an interactive experience with your baby as you become the narrator and the two of you talk together. This is a great way to help your child learn! You can also purchase cd's with the soundtrack of each DVD. I think these make great night time listening for your little ones, as well as a nice alternative to 'the wheels on the bus' type songs usually playing in my car.
The images on Baby IQ are all filmed in high definition. Thus they are bright, crisp, and really entertaining. There are 4 different DVD's to choose from - my personal favorite is the DVD 3: Colours! The images on this video are so much fun to look at! There is also a Counting dvd, First Word dvd, and the World Around Us dvd. It is really hard to shop for a baby during the holidays. I hate to give them nothing but clothing. However, my little man isn't ready for most toys and teething rings can only be so exciting. The Baby IQ DVDs are a great gift for your baby. They will enjoy them & continue to enjoy them as they grow. Plus the gift of learning will last a lifetime (cheesy but true). Check out the video promo below to give you a little idea of what they are about. You can visit the Baby IQ site to see much higher quality & more samples of the DVDs.
