Shampowder

It's probably not my best kept dirty secret (since it would be pretty visible to anyone looking at me) but I am not good about washing my hair on a daily basis. Don't get me wrong - I'm not a stinky person. I just have two young children and a hectic life. I have a hard time finding time to devote to grooming on many a day. This is why my hair & my husband are really lucky I stumbled upon Shampowder!

Shampowder comes in a convenient blush applicator and that makes it possible to apply it wherever you are. It lives in my purse and on the really hectic mornings I can relax knowing I can use it to save my hair while I'm waiting in the carpool lane. It's also great to have after a sweaty workout. Shampowder is lightly pigmented in several colors to help it blend well with your hair - you wouldn't want to use baby powder and look prematurely gray. Fortunately, Shampowder will not age you. The revitalizing powder absorbs your hairs oils and even gives your hair a little extra body. The subtle vanilla scent is great for deodorizing your hair too!

This week you can WIN a Shampowder to one of my fellow moms in a rush. To enter to win simply comment on this post with why you need a Shampowder - be creative (don't just say I don't have time to shower - we want to know why?) Also please let me know what shade you need (the dark hair/red hair or the light hair). The deadline to enter is October 21st at midnight EST. Winners have 72 hours to claim their prize before a replacement winner is chosen. You can double your chances to win by subscribing to Now What Baby's newsletter. If you are already a subscriber remind me in your comment. Best of luck and I can't wait to read your comments!Best Blogger Tips

Okay, I don't have a baby...yet. I'm 34 weeks pregnant, I have a full time job, and a small business on the side...so I definitely don't wash my hair every day! When I'm short on time, it's one of the first things I cut out of my routine. (I have very frequent pony tail days.) I have actually looked for a product like this! Is it really possible that I will be busier once the baby arrives?!?! I was hoping things will slow down. ;) I think I really need the shampowder...
Thanks! (I'm a subscriber)

Oh, I forgot...the dark hair colored one would be great.

I need the dark haired shampowder because right now we don't have hot water. I HATE cold showers, I don't want to be in there long enough to wash my hair.Maybe I'm a wuss, but shampowder sounds soooo much better than washing my hair in cold water.

I work about 6 different jobs as well as try and keep a husband in line and I'm 30 something weeks pregnant. This would be perfect...maybe my husband wouldn't come home and ask did you wash your hair today :) I need the light hair color.

I need this because I have a 16 year old who is in football (which takes OVER your life), a 16 month old and well, I am due to deliver again in 2 weeks. I am not sure if I can find time to shower, sleep or survive... Help! Just putting that down freaks me out!!

I need this because I have skin problems; my dermatologist has recommended showering or bathing no more than every other day. My skin looks and feels much better (and no, I don't stink!) but my hair doesn't do so well!

I would really like to have some Shampowder. I have two boys a 4 year old and a 14 month old. They keep me busy and I work part time. I also have aa at home business that I take care of mostly on my own. Let's just say I don't always get around to a shower everyday. I often end up wearing a ponytail to hide this fact. Please count me in for the Shampowder for red hair. ( I also subscribed.) Thanks!

Are you kidding me? They actually make something like this? Whoa! Brilliant idea. It's not too great to wash colored hair every day my stylist tells me so this would be a great way to freshen it up on those between days! I would love to try the dark hair version!

When my daughter hears the tub running she thinks it is time to take bath, if she gets in with me she takes up the whole bath so I can't rinse out my hair :( Our shower is broken. So I either have to saty up late or wake up early to wash my hair, when I am too tired to do either most of the time.

seriously I have been looking for this and the fact I can keep it in the purse is handy- on days where I end up at the hospital because of things at 3 am and end up being there days with family and not being able to wash, would be nice instead of feeling like I want to dunk my hair in the sink and wash it- yes I have- its a mess. On those days where you feel good and think oh hair looks fine but by midday oh crap I should have washed it last night. On those days when you are on your third day in the same home clothes because life( and admit it ladies- there are some that may wear the same clothes for a couple days in a row if they are home- my personal philosphy its my home- I am not out to impress anyone- its my life)- well back to you think I am not going anywhere and you have to run to do an emergency call and no time for a shower. This would also be great when you are on a trip and don't want to wash your hair and all that schmele but need a pick me up for the hair. Iwent looking for this last year and only found expensive items- and see there is a demand for it...about time! and the fact they have the color BRAVO! subscriber

OOOOOOH! Pick me! I have a ten month old who is going through some "separation anxiety" which, essentially, means that he thinks that, unless he is plastered to my leg or gripping my shirt, I may bolt at any time. He is a chronic short-napper (Why God, Why????!!), and when he naps I need to eat, do dishes and....well....okay, BLOG! Sigh. I need this! It will put a little sparkle back in our love life if I am not weighted down by greasy locks.. ;)

Wow, this is genius. I also have naturally oily hair, and it's really fine, but thick. So when I don't shower often enough, I look like a drowned rat.

Like today. I don't remember the last time I had a shower two days in a row, do moms really get that luxury? Now, if only they could make a powder to deal with my legs not getting shaved often enough ;)

(I remember when my son was first born, and trying to shower with a slippery newborn in my arms because I was THAT desperate. And wanting to strangle my husband when he said "Well, why don't you just go take a shower." Oh yeah. A nice, relaxing, screaming baby shower. Thanks babe.)

What a great invention! I can think of two reasons this would be helpful for me. First is that I try not to wash my hair every day, but I have baby fine hair and by day 2, it really needs a little help. Second is that I'm a frequent traveler and a product like this would be the perfect thing to take with for those days when the travel schedule is a little crazy or there just isn't a decent shower available. I'd need the dark/red.

As a very busy mom of a 27 month old and a 9 month old (and currently 7 months pregnant with my 3rd boy!) Showering is a luxury usually awarded in 3 minute intervals accompanied by a persistant little voice with such questions as "I come in?" or "you poopin?" Hair elastics have become my best friend and rarely am I seen with my hair down anymore due to my every second day 3 minute showers! This product sounds really neat and I would love to try it in the dark color. I am a subscriber :)

I don't have any time to wash my hair because my youngest niece (who I care for) is always into things. I turn my back and she's dumping stuff off the table. I'm sitting next to her on the floor and somehow manages to make every toy around her explode off of the shelves. I can't take my hands/eyes off of her to go wash my hair.

I'd like the dark hair powder.
