Let Gigi Mae put an end to "baby fetch"

Constantly reaching for baby's stuff? My son has a knack for throwing whatever he is currently chewing on to the ground. While I don't mind picking up his toys for him but what do I do when I am in the shower, or driving the car, or he drops it onto a dirty floor while we are out? Created by Paw Prints of Illinois, the Miss Gigi Mae Teether System solves this problem for you and does so in the form of an adorable lady bug. You can securely attach 6 items to the Miss Gigi Mae so when your baby gets the urge to toss his teething ring onto the restaurant floor - she will keep hold on it. The teething system has two velcro straps on the belly of the lady bug that make it easy to attach to just about anything. We use ours to attach to Jackson's car seat and I love to attach it to the side of my purse when he is not using it. All of his toys are neatly together and easy to find when he is ready to play.

The Miss Gigi Mae Teething System reminds me a little of those yo-yo toys that retract back to you because your child can pull the various toys closer to them and then they will retract back to the lady bug when baby has released them. It makes a little buzzing sound when the toys are being retracted that my son really likes. He will pull them just to hear the sound again & again. This teething system is such a creative solution to keeping your little one's stuff off the floor. You can even attach items like bottles or sippy cups.

When you purchase the teething system it comes with an adorable book called Miss Gigi Mae Learns to Read: The Letter A. The pictures are whimsical and artsy. Plus it's designed with little mouths in mind because they can safely chew on it. You can even put it in the bathtub. The permanent grommet makes it easy to attach to the Miss Gigi Mae Teething System. Coming soon they will release the letter B in the book series - so you might want to sign up for updates so that you don't miss out.

Breathe easier knowing the products from Paw Prints of Illinois have been thoroughly tested both on site and by independent testing labs. So pick up your own friendly lady bug and let Miss Gigi Mae do the baby fetching for you!

Win your own Miss Gigi Mae Teething System! To enter visit Paw Prints of Illinois and leave a comment telling us how many times a day you have to pick up something your infant or toddler has thrown on the floor. The deadline to enter is February 28th at midnight EST. As always you can double you chances of winning by becoming a subscriber to Now What Baby. Already a subscriber? I did an experiment. In one hour, I picked something up six times! I could do some mathematical averaging, but you get the picture! Thanks. Very clever. Not to mention, Lilys' room theme is ladybugs!

Luckily, my 2 1/2 year old is now able to pick up his own toys, etc. when he drops them but I'm getting ready to pick up after the new one when she finally makes her appearance. I remember so many pickups off grocery store and mall floors - we certainly know where all the washrooms are now for cleaning!

It feels like I spend a quarter of my day just picking up my son's toys. Thanks for the chance.

I honestly have lost count!

Anonymous said...

To be honest I've never counted! I'd hate to use up space in my sleep deprived brain remembering what number of pick-ups I'm on! I'm guessing on a good day 4 or 5 and on a bad day -- 15-20, but my son is improving over time! lol... Thanks for the giveaway. mybabyappleseed(at)yahoo(dot)ca

i pick up a dropped toy AT LEAST 20 times a day. i recently tried tying the toy to the high chair with string, but it didn;t work well (string gets soggy, knot comes undone, string tangles around baby fingers, etc...)

I'd say 10. Most of the time he's playing, he's already on the floor - except when we are out of the house.

My sons have recently learned the word google for an infinite number so that is what I would have to go with as far as picking up everything she is throwing down. This is a great idea!

When am I not picking up items from both of my girls... seems as if the younger has found sheer joy in seeing mommy bend over for sure! I would say I am picking things up 20 or more times a day... and YES, I do leave some on the floor, because sometimes I get a head rush from the pick-up game.

I dont have to do this on a daily basis...I only have my grandkids about every other weekend, but I know that each day I have them I wait until Riley throws EVERYTHING out before I do the 'pick-up dance'...which ends up being about 7 times a day. I would probably give this to my daughter in law, since I know how I feel on the occasional weekend,,,and she deals with it daily!

Anonymous said...

I don't think I could count the number! Too many times.
