Just in case you were curious about how the holidays went for our two deserving families - I have a short little update for you! Family 7 so kindly wrote a little bit about the experience on her blog! She said "I am so happy to let you all know that the magic of Christmas has touched our home! Through the generosity of complete strangers our children are going to have a fantastic Christmas this year! One that we would have not otherwise been able to provide due to serious financial strains. Our family was chosen as one of two deserving families in need for a very special Christmas Giveaway over at the fantastic blog, Now What Baby Through the graciousness of the blog owner, Melissa, and several wonderful sponsors who helped her put it all together, we have been provided with a huge box of gifts for the entire family! Melissa was sweet enough to even wrap all of the presents for us, so it will truly be a surprise on Christmas morning! We are truly blessed and so very grateful to Melissa, Now What Baby, and all of the fantastic sponsors who contributed to making this the most special Christmas of all!
Please take the time to visit Now What Baby and maybe enter a few of the cool contests going on! You could also check out the Give Santa A Hand Giveaway post and if you scroll to the end there is a box with easy-click link access for each of the sponsors websites that contributed. If you must spend money, spend it where you know they "give back"! :-)" I am really looking forward to hearing what her family thought when they opened their presents!! I will be sure to keep you updated as I learn more.
Also Family 3 has already shared a little about her family's holiday! Here is what she had to say about her children's favorites - "I wanted to let you know that you made for a wonderful Christmas for the children. When my oldest opened the cinderella doll she said "this is the best present ever" and has played with it every day since. She also loves the camera with the doll being her best subject for photos. My middle child has had a great time playing with the castle and loves it when her sister will play with her. And the baby loves the sock critter from Little Missmatched. It was the first toy he ever tried to play with and likes to chew on the legs.
It really was a magical Christmas for my family. Thank you so much for that!"
I had the best time with getting to help play Santa for these families and it was so heartwarming to see how many generous sponsors helped out! This has truly been one of the best holidays for my family - I got so much joy out of being involved in this. Again - THANK YOU so much all of my kind sponsors!!
