Cranium brings fun for your little ones!

My 3 year old always wants to play games. The problem is we struggle with finding games that he can actually understand. I realize that using imagination is good for a child but have your ever tried to play Guess Who with a creative 3 year old? It will make you crazy! Cranium has done an excellent job of creating some games for the preschoolers in your life. Not only are the games simple enough for your little one to play but they also sneak in a little learning as well!

We got a real kick out of Cranium Hullabaloo. This game says ages 4 & up but my little guy did a pretty good job of playing. It's nice because it has the option of setting the game for beginners or advanced players. This game will also get your kids up an moving. There is no sitting involved - it will have you dancing and bouncing around. It reminds me of a little of twister - if twister talked, taught you things, and made you move about in odd ways. My son had a great time playing - he would even play by himself. I was pretty impressed to see how quickly he picked up on the concept and to see how well he knew his colors & shapes. This would be lots of fun for playdates!
Cranium also has a new line of games made for 3 year olds and up. They are also really easy on your wallet at only $10 a game! I found them all to be great learning tools and lots of fun to my son. Here is a brief description of the learning benefits found in each game. Our favorite was the Puppy Pals Bingo!
  • Puppy Pals Bingo - teaches you to match colors, shapes, and patterns!
  • Duck Duck 1-2-3 - great practice for new counters
  • Polar Bear A-B-C - fishing fun that helps teach your children how to spell & make words
These games make such a great gift for your child. I also think they are going to become a staple in my home for birthday party gifts. It's nice to be able to give children a fun way to learn!
Cranium is generously giving away 2 of each of their great preschool learning games listed above - that means there are going to be 6 winners! To enter to win make sure to visit Cranium's site and then to comment back with the answer to the following question - "Which cranium game would you most like to try?" The deadline to enter is November 30th at midnight EST. You can double your winning chances by subscribing to Now What Baby and you will also be eligible for special subscriber only contests!
